Keep it simple— we want the focus to be on you, not your clothes. Solid colors work best. Darker tones and jewel colors photograph beautifully. Avoid white (unless under a blazer or at the beach), as well as bright colors, and bold patterns unless they’re layered. Long sleeves are great for keeping the focus on your face. Dress head to toe—we’ll be shooting everything from close-ups to full length!
For Families:
You don’t have to match, but stay in the same color ‘value’ (earth tones, pastels, jewel tones). One person in white while others wear darks will stand out too much. And a pro tip for the guys: no last-minute haircuts—they’ll look freshly mowed!
A reservation fee is paid at the time of booking to reserve your session time on our schedule. Reservation fees include a portrait credit to be applied towards your order, or for Business portraits and Headshots, they include one enhanced, high resolution image with usage rights for reproduction.
Thomas Bruce Studio is the official Yearbook and Senior Portrait photographer for Canterbury School of Florida and Shorecrest Preparatory School.
All other high schools: if your school has a designated photographer you do have to go there for your yearbook formal (the tux for boys and the black drape for girls). However, we’re here to do the cool stuff for you for friends, family and social media.
Studio sessions are booked with plenty of time allowed to pay attention to details.
This is not “fast-food” photography; appointment times do not overlap, and every effort is made for your comfort and convenience. Sessions vary from a 30- minute Executive Business portrait to a 90- minute Senior session. Relax and enjoy “the Experience”.
Image enhancement to soften facial lines, lighten under-eye circles and remove blemishes, etc. is included on all Thomas Bruce finished portraits. Extensive artwork may be additional.

When you book a passport photo appointment with us, we’ll have you in and out with photos in hand in minutes! If you need a digital copy, we’ll make sure it’s in your “inbox” before you leave.
Yes. All sessions, including passports, and photo restoration quotes, are by appointment only. Please call 727.577.5626. Appointments by email are discouraged as our schedule is constantly changing.
