Donating our time and talents to assist local non-profit organizations like All Children’s Hospital, Faces of Courage, the Florida Orchestra, The Heart Galleries of Tampa Bay and Pinellas/Pasco Counties, the Children’s Cancer Center, Brookwood Florida, and Flashes of Hope are truly donations ‘from the heart’.

Faces of Courage

Unveiling Breast Cancer: A Demonstration of Strength, Courage & Conviction

Faces of Courage is a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing life-enriching experiences for children and families touched by cancer.

The Faces of Courage Breast Cancer Gallery is a group of 18 portraits of Breast Cancer Survivors. The women & man featured represent the thousands of women & men who have been touched by this horrible, disfiguring, and often deadly disease. They bare the battle scars that were earned in their fight against cancer, rejoicing in their victory. The Gallery images depict the many ‘Faces of Courage’ from young to old, black, white, Hispanic, Indian, female and male because breast cancer is a non-discriminatory offender.

The intent of the Gallery is to present real life documentaries from women in our communities who are breast cancer survivors, to build public awareness and provide ‘hope’ and ‘help’ to those in need. There is life after losing a breast. This is a battle that can be conquered as long as you are aware.

The Gallery is available on loan to groups or organizations that wish to help raise donations for Faces of Courage.

The Florida Orchestra

The Florida Orchestra Sessions were created exclusively to create public interest & awareness in support of the Orchestra. 16 principle players and 2 conductors are featured in both the traveling Gallery and permanent display in the Florida Orchestra offices. Thomas Bruce Studio’s work with the Florida Orchestra has been revered, and featured in their last several marketing campaigns. The Gallery is available on loan to donors and

The Heart Galleries of Tampa Bay

The Children’s Board Heart Gallery is a unique photographic exhibit created to find forever families for children in foster care. The touring exhibit specifically recruits for higher-risk children who have had parental rights terminated and are particularly difficult to find permanent placements for due to factors of race, age, large sibling groups, as well as special needs children. More than 100 children are featured annually, and through Heart Gallery recruitment efforts over 40% are matched with parents annually.

Flashes of Hope

Flashes of Hope is a nonprofit organization that changes the way children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses see themselves through the gift of photography and raises money for pediatric cancer research. The portraits help children feel better about their changing appearance by celebrating it. For families of terminally ill children, it’s especially important to have a portrait that preserves forever the beauty, grace and dignity of their child.

Children’s Cancer Center

Helping children and families cope. That is the mission of the Children’s Cancer Center, a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving Tampa Bay families of children with cancer or chronic blood disorders. Their mission is to provide these children and their families with the educational, emotional and financial relief necessary to copy with the illnesses which threaten to tear their lives apart. While other organizations are committed to finding a cure tomorrow, the CCC is committed to helping families cope today.

Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay provides a “home-away-from-home” for families with children receiving medical treatment in bay area hospitals. Many families travel far from home to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children. The treatment may last a day, a month, or even longer. It’s a long time to be away from home, or to divide a family. The Ronald McDonald House offers families a way to stay together, in proximity to the treatment hospital, and be comfortable and cared for during their stay.

Brookwood St. Petersburg

Brookwood is dedicated to providing troubled adolescent girls with an alternative living environment and therapeutic program encompassing education, employability skills, independent living training and counseling that will prepare them for self-sufficiency or successful family reunification.
